Custom and Retrofit Homes
With over 70 custom and retrofit homes completed, BriteHome is proven to scale from home sizes of 1800 sq. ft. / 25 switches to over 12,000 sq. ft. / 170 switches.
Without the need for additional wiring, panels, hubs or other complexities, BriteLight simply replaces the standard switches.
Each switch autonomously operates to meet the homeowner’s preferences for lighting control – indoors and outdoors.
Additionally, homeowners can enjoy the free included Real-Time monitoring and premium DIY services like auto vacation mode.
Hi-Vol Homes
BriteHome is specified in over 500 Hi-Vol homes, of which 250 homes are completed. BriteHome is well accepted by builders, electricians, architects and lighting specifiers. Offered as a standard either for Title-24 vacancy switches or as smart lighting or as an upgrade bundled with lighting options offered to homebuyers.
Without the need for additional training, electricians install BriteLight switches similar to any standard switch. They can test and verify the operation without the need of any app or technology.
Homeowners connect BriteLights to their Wi-Fi using the BriteHome app that has a built in AI configuration wizard that automatically sets preferences for specific lighting areas.
A Case Study – Our Journey with Trumark Builders, N. California
Trumark’s team visited one of our custom home installations and were intrigued by the simplicity and touchless nature of this solution that goes beyond voice and app.
Our first project with Trumark (N. CA) was Harmony, in Sunnyvale. We started with model homes and were specified as a smart home upgrade along with their lighting options.
Many of the homeowners selected the smart lighting upgrades and have appreciated the touchless lifestyle.
After the success at Harmony, BriteHome was specified as smart home package for many other projects.
Homeowners have appreciated the simplicity, including wireless 3-ways and whole house control.
Many have opted for the DIY security service. The intrusion deterrence and whole house panic mode are favorites amongst these customers.
For projects pertaining to senior living (55+) – They need not worry about manually operating light switches anymore and free Real-Time monitoring is of great value to their families who can check if everything is alright.
The Aging In Place service is well appreciated by seniors living alone via the DIY app alert. Their family can be alerted in case of pattern anomaly detection (e.g. not getting up in the morning). This service operates without use of any wearables or cameras.
